Before she started taking photography seriously, Mara was a musician in bands. She took her camera to shows and events, and soon realized she'd rather take photos of people onstage than be on stage herself.
Her photography continues to evolve, including macro photography. But having gotten her start in rock 'n' roll, Mara seeks to uncover beauty, passion and emotion in every living and unliving subject.
